Players operate in the central public square of an ancient Greek city, gathering resources, commissioning monuments and developing persuasive skills. On each turn players take actions to acquire materials, improve rhetoric, influence public opinion and seek favorable court verdicts. Success is measured by the total value of constructed monuments, rhetorical achievements and legal outcomes; the highest total wins.
