Stalin Moves West

Stalin invades Germany, 1941. A two-player strategic simulation of a hypothetical Soviet invasion of central and western Europe after Germany avoids invading the Soviet Union. Players command corps- and army-level formations across a map of the USSR, Germany, occupied Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. Supply, leadership, and air support appear as separate units, while Soviet forces begin with uncertain combat values reflecting the effects of the purges. Several scenarios explore different versions of the campaign, with turns representing one to two months and each hex covering about 70 kilometers.
