Players lead a crew of six pirates through an underground escape route toward a waiting sloop, racing to get all crew aboard first. On each turn players take 1–3 actions by playing symbol cards to move a pirate forward to the next matching symbol, or by moving a pirate backward to a space with one or two pirates to draw cards. Forward moves can leapfrog over occupied matching spaces, and reaching the end places a pirate on the sloop where it waits for the rest. The game supports modular boards for variable length and includes optional variants that add alternate paths, card-drawing interactions, hand disruption, and symbol-based special powers.
