Merchants compete to control trade routes between medieval cities and towns, gaining influence through access to valuable markets. Players establish branches within cities or create routes to new locations, balancing income with the risk of losing market dominance. Additional branches can reduce a product’s value while strengthening influence. The player with the most influence at the end of the game wins.
