No Turning Back: The Battle of the Wilderness 5-6 May 1864

The first new Line of Battle game in five years, covering the Battle of the Wilderness on 5–6 May 1864. Players command Union and Confederate forces at regimental scale across dense terrain, where trails, guides, and difficult communication shape movement and combat. Multiple scenarios portray the battle’s major actions and command situations, including attacks by Warren, Wright, and Hancock, the fighting around Saunders Field, and the southern flank. Four detailed maps are based on a postwar survey, with 1,960 counters representing accurate regimental strengths.
