Rising Sun Over China: Japan vs China 1931 – 1937

The campaigns in northern China, 1931 to 1937. This two-player operational-strategic wargame covers Japanese and Chinese operations in Manchukuo, Menjiang, and northern China. Japan seeks to control strategic regions and capture Peiping, while China aims to retain those regions and delay a larger invasion. Each hex represents 75 kilometers, and each turn covers one year. Ground units range from Japanese divisions and brigades to Chinese and allied armies and corps, while air units represent sorties assigned to missions. Soviet intervention is also possible.
