The Things

This expansion adds new cards, Encounters, and mechanisms to the Antarctic survival and hidden-trait game, including support for five and six players. It introduces Blood Testing, additional objectives, and events such as Bad Blood, the dog’s journey to the coast, and a laboratory blackout that can allow infected players to spread the alien organism unnoticed. Up to two assimilated Outpost players may reveal their nature and work with the original alien against the remaining humans. Most cards can also be added to two- to four-player games. The expansion contains profanity and horrific imagery and is intended for adults.
