To Take Washington: Jubal Early's Summer 1864 Campaign

This American Civil War simulation covers Jubal Early’s summer 1864 campaign from the Shenandoah Valley toward Washington, D.C., including the Battle of Monocacy and the assault on Fort Stevens. Players fight the two actions on separate map areas, with Confederate performance and speed at Monocacy determining the strength of the Union defenses at Fort Stevens. The system uses brigade- and regimental-scale units, artillery batteries, leaders, and detailed combat rules across twelve scenarios. The campaign game links both battles, while single-map scenarios focus on portions of either engagement. Turns represent 15–30 minutes, and play typically lasts 4–15 hours.
