A historical wargame covering European warfare from the introduction of practical individual firearms to the adoption of the socket bayonet. Scenarios based on battles from 1574 to 1689 provide different mixes of infantry, cavalry, and artillery. Players maneuver unit counters across mapsheets and resolve engagements using period tactics and combat rules. Included scenarios range from Mookerhyde, Breitenfeld, and Naseby to Dunbar, Szentgotthard, and Killiecrankie.
