In the realm of the Grim Reapers, the Joker faction rules while the exiled Reapers secretly gather to reclaim power through a sacrificial ritual. Players take hidden roles as Exilers or Jokers, discuss and vote while placing character cards on the altar, attempting to assemble the correct combination and start the ritual. Jokers can mislead the group into triggering an incorrect ritual, and automatically win if nine cards reach the altar before the ritual begins.
