Up to eight players compete as runners in a tactical 1,500 meter track race. Each player manages a 100-point mental strength pool to bid for advantages, select movement cards, and adjust pace over a series of rounds. Each round proceeds through a card-selection and simultaneous bidding phase, a pace phase where players keep, increase, or decrease speed (costing mental strength), and a wear phase that deducts extra mental strength based on actions and position. The game contains rules for dummy runners and an optional shorter 800-meter race.
