2002 · Abstract Strategy
Pueblo
Players act as craftsmen building a communal pueblo by placing colored and neutral stone blocks onto a small square board. Each turn, players add blocks and move a chieftain token around an outer track; lines of sight from the chieftain and corner overviews reveal which players’ colored stones are visible and assign penalty points for those exposures. Players must conceal their trademark-colored stones among neutral blocks while managing turn order and optional bidding, and may also navigate unbuildable sacred sites when using advanced setup. After all blocks are placed and the chieftain makes a final circuit, the player with the fewest penalty points wins.
