1998 · Card Game
Aquarius
Players lay colorful panel cards in a shared grid, connecting edges much like dominoes to form contiguous areas of elements. Each player is secretly assigned a goal element and wins by creating a connected region of seven panels of that element. Action cards let players alter the board or goals with five different effects, while goal cards assign which element each player pursues. Gameplay is quick and relies on tile placement, area connection, and occasional hand-driven disruption.
