2008 · Abstract Strategy
Avverso
A minimalist abstract connection game played on a board of 25 hexagons. Each player aims to connect two opposite sides with a chain of stones in their color, but each turn places a stone in the opponent’s color. Stones enter through an outer hexagon and can push one or more existing stones to make room, reshaping the board’s connections. The non-symmetrical board offsets the advantage of starting, while the compact layout supports quick, tactical games with considerable strategic depth.
