Cry Baby
Players compete over four rounds of seven tricks to control the kingdom by winning a chosen number of tricks. Each card is double-sided with different color and value on each face; at the start of a round players set the orientation of their hand and secretly bet how many tricks they will take. Tricks follow standard color and trump rules, but a special “Cry” action triggers when a player plays the lowest card in a trick. Crying either scores a small point or allows the player to rotate one card in their hand, changing its face and altering future play to better meet the bet. At round end, players score for each Cry and score a larger bonus if they match their bet. After four rounds the highest total wins.
