Five Crowns

1996 · Card Game

Five Crowns

Players collect sets and runs from a five-suited deck in a rummy-style card game played over eleven increasing hands. Each hand requires melds of increasing size (starting at three-card melds and rising to thirteen), and each round designates a rank as wild (plus six Jokers), so the wild card changes with the hand number. Players draw and discard, then attempt to lay down melds until someone melds all cards in hand and ends the round. Scores are calculated from leftover cards, and play proceeds through the sequence of hands.
