King's Road
Players act as nobles seeking influence across the king’s provinces as the monarch travels the road linking the realm’s landmarks. The game is area-majority driven: players use identical eleven-card decks and simultaneously choose three cards each turn, arranging their play order to resolve control and scoring. Timing, card selection, and anticipating opponents’ choices determine who holds sway in each region and earns favor as the king passes by. This edition reworks an earlier implementation previously available only in compendiums.
