Limes

2014 · Card Game

Limes

Players build a shared 4x4 landscape by placing terrain tiles from individually shuffled decks and then deploy or move worker figures on the newly placed tiles. Workers represent farmers, fishermen, woodcutters, and watchmen; each type scores differently based on the surrounding terrain—connected grain fields for farmers, houses adjacent to lakes for fishermen, visible woods in straight lines for watchmen (blocked by other towers), and distinct adjacent territories that can receive wood for woodcutters. The game ends when a 4x4 grid is complete and players tally points from each worker; ties are broken by the highest single-figure score.
