Níjar

2026 · Card Game

Níjar

Players run pottery workshops in 1920s rural Andalusia, extracting clay, throwing pots, firing kilns, and decorating pieces to sell at market. Each round uses a diminishing pool of action discs; on a turn a player places craftswomen on an action space by committing more workers than are already there, triggering that action and returning others. Actions include drawing and playing cards, gathering clay, forming and firing pots, painting, cleaning the workshop, selling esparto, and claiming the starting-player marker, with location-based bonus rewards. Players can instead discard an endgame scoring card to perform an action, sell up to two fired pieces for points, or close their shop to take a bonus. The game runs three rounds with strategic worker placement and production planning.
