Torres

Players collaboratively build a shared landscape of multi-level towers and place a limited pool of knights onto those structures to score points each round. Turns use action cards to move builders, raise or lower tower levels, and deploy knights; players must manage their scarce pieces and cards while anticipating future scoring opportunities. Scoring rewards height, control of towers, and knight placement relative to other players, making spatial planning and efficient action selection central to play.

Classic area control game, abstract and family one. It's a really well-crafted one, and kind of pioneer on the mechanics. Works like a clockmachine.
