Rattus
Players manage settlements across 14th-century Europe as the Black Death spreads over several years. Each turn, players deploy population and class tokens — peasants, monks, merchants, knights, witches, and kings — that interact with region demographics and the advancing plague token. Classes affect growth, movement, and resistance: peasants boost population, monks repel rats, merchants abandon infected areas, knights carry infection to new regions, witches manipulate spread, and kings shelter elites. Rats and plague tokens move according to card-driven or event mechanics, periodically wiping out population. After the epidemic ends, the player with the largest surviving population wins.
