A railroad operations and share-trading game set in early American finance. Players build track, buy and operate trains, place tokens, and manage companies in the familiar 18xx framework. Financial strategy drives outcomes: players trade shares, perform mergers and conversions, and pursue friendly or hostile takeovers. The game adds market-driven interest rates, corporate liquidations, and the option to sell stock short, exposing players to dividend liabilities and margin risk as they attempt to profit from price movements.
