Voidfall
Players lead rival Great Houses in a sci‑fi campaign to purge a spreading cosmic corruption and reshape a fractured galactic empire. The game runs across three cycles, each introducing new events and scoring conditions while players develop technology, advance house‑specific civilization tracks, and manage sectors’ infrastructure, population, and production. Gameplay centers on choosing and sequencing focus cards that grant two of three powerful actions, plus deterministic space combat resolved without dice. Players expand and fight with multiple fleet types, customize their empires, and pursue victory either by pushing back the corrupted forces in solo/coop or by outmaneuvering rivals for influence in competitive play.

Balleflass6.0 Ok game. Very little player interaction and a very point salady game like a typical euro. Yea even moreso than Eclipse. One of the weird things I noticed was the difference between how many production steps actually resorted into an actual production increase between all of the types of productions. I felt this was extremely unnecessary and could have been streamlined a lot. Rules and readability of the game state could have been cleaned up and streamlined a lot. Learning Anachrony is a cakewalk compared to this mess.
Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
If I end my turn over my Fleet Power limit, what happens to the excess fleets?
During Clean‑up you must recall or fit fleets until your Fleet Power is at or below the limit; any excess Fleet Power must be removed by recalling or deactivating fleets (see pages 12 and 21–22).
Do Focus actions take effect immediately when I play the Focus or later?
You choose and play Focuses during the Selection step, but their actions are resolved during the Actions step—play now, resolve during Actions (pages 9–10).
How do Approach and Salvo steps work in combat—when are initiative and shields applied?
The Basic Combat Sequence runs an Approach step that resolves approach effects and determines initiative, then Salvo resolves damage where shields absorb before hull and initiative/order affect damage timing (pages 25 and 36).
When do I flip/place Trade tokens and when are they returned?
You flip Trade tokens during the Selection step when indicated, place them according to the Trade token placement rules, and Clean‑up/Improvement steps handle returning or placing Trade tokens as specified (see pages 9, 12 and 30).
Can I slot a Corrupted Agenda or place Corruption in Pure locations?
Pure vs Corrupted distinctions matter: Agendas and Corruption follow the slot and placement rules—Corrupted items cannot be placed into Pure slots/locations where the rules prohibit it; see the Agenda slotting and Corruption rules (pages 32 and 29–30).
What happens when a Crisis becomes ongoing or a Catastrophe is placed—how do Harbingers and row shifting work?
Void Advances resolve Situation Alerts: 4c makes a Crisis ongoing and you place it by row/type with shifting rules and Harbinger limits, while 4b places a Catastrophe; follow the ongoing Crisis placement, shifting, and Harbinger limits as described (pages 13–14 and 34).
