Galactic Cruise

Manage a luxury space cruise company by designing and building ships, recruiting guests, and expanding a network of orbital and planetary destinations. Players place workers to take actions across the evolving network, construct ships from acquired blueprints, develop connections that unlock new actions, and influence resource markets that respond to player activity. On a turn a player either places a worker for two actions, launches a ship to send a pilot to space, or recalls workers to gain funding bonuses. Players compete to complete company goals and accumulate progress cubes; when the progress track fills, the player with the most victory points wins.

Rules questions

Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.

If someone bumps my worker, do I still get to take that action or is it lost?

When your Worker is bumped it is immediately removed to your Break Room and you gain a Funding Bonus; the active player (who bumped you) takes the action — your bumped Worker does not take that action (see Worker Bumping, p.8).

When my Ship reaches a Destination do I have to place an Upgrade token right away or can I wait until a later Destination on the same Cruise?

You may choose to place an Upgrade Token on the current Destination or wait until you arrive at another Destination on the same Cruise; if a Destination already has three Upgrade Tokens and you have nowhere else to place it, discard the token (p.9).

During launch, do I need to have all Resources on my board before T‑minus 3, or can Agenda cards or Reputation pay for them?

Resources for launch can come from your Player Board, from Agenda Cards, or by spending Reputation, and may be paid in any order; you do not need board storage for Resources provided immediately by Agenda Cards or Reputation (T‑minus...3, p.15).

Can I play more than one Agenda Card at the same time to reduce costs or gain resources?

Yes — you may play multiple Agenda Cards together as long as each card is applicable (they compound and can reduce costs to 0 but not below), and Agenda Cards played for their Resource can be played at any time on your turn and do not count as an action (p.14).

If I build a Blueprint directly from the display, do I pay extra and are there restrictions on where I can build Segments?

Building a Segment from the Blueprint display requires paying the Blueprint cost plus the additional Reputation and Money cost shown beside that Blueprint, and Segments must be built into a Ship (max 3 Segments per Ship), cannot be built into Ships currently on a Cruise, and once built cannot be moved (Build Ship Segments and Building Restrictions, p.11).
