Berlin: Fall of the Reich, 1945

Third game in the solitaire area movement system, covering the Red Army’s assault on Berlin during April and May 1945. Across a nine-turn campaign, players command Soviet forces advancing from the city’s suburbs through industrial districts and fortified government buildings, while the game system controls the German defenders. Random events, uncertain supply deliveries, and hidden defensive strengths create varied challenges. Soviet units can be fought to exhaustion, while Stalin’s approval must be maintained. Victory requires forcing the defenders to surrender and capturing the Reichstag by May Day.
