Helheim Unbound

A class-less, level-less roleplaying game built around a flexible system for creating characters and settings. Players define their champions’ skills, traits, benefits, hindrances, and desires, then build dice pools to resolve actions. Rolls use variable-sized dice, with results determined by meeting a target number; benefits add dice while hindrances remove them. The rules support quick resolution and narrative play, with pre-generated characters allowing groups to begin within minutes. Character creation and world setup require only a small set of guidelines, leaving the group to develop the setting and its stories.
