Mad scientists compete for access to Lasers, Dark Matter, Cryptomium, and Sharks, using these resources to build bizarre inventions and advance their plans. Players draft resources from piles arranged by the current Crooked Director, who chooses the divisions but selects last. They craft inventions, deploy minions, sabotage opponents, bribe directors, and pursue secret objectives while managing scarce commodities. Cards can form engines that generate further resources, or support stockpiling and other schemes aimed at infamy and personal glory.
