Master Word

Players cooperate to deduce a hidden target word starting from a single visible hint. One player acts as guide and privately reads the master word, then shows seekers the starting hint. Seekers have a limited time each round to discuss and simultaneously write one-word clues, which are placed in a row. After clues are submitted, the guide marks how many of those clues are “on the right track” by placing tokens but does not reveal which clues they refer to. Play proceeds up to seven rounds; seekers win if they write the master word on a solution card before the rounds end and lose if the master word is written as a clue or remains undiscovered.
