Sea of Iron: La Baltique 1939

In the late 1930’s, both Polish and Soviet war plans considered a war between their nations the mostly likely near-future conflict. Through the 1920’s and 1930’s, the French and Polish naval staffs discussed how to protect the flow of weapons and ammunition from France to Poland in the event of an attack on Poland by its eastern neighbor, the Soviet Union. The war that actually came in 1939 involved a German attack on Poland, and so the French plan would never be activated. La Baltique 1939 is a Campaign Study based on these plans. It includes 15 new scenarios for Second World War at Sea: Sea of Iron, as the French fleet joins the Poles in fending off Soviet attacks on their maritime supply lines.
