Syphax – Lion of the Desert: The Battles of Tispara, 213, Siga & Tingis 212 BC

This expansion for SPQR presents three scenarios from the Numidian revolt during the Second Punic War. Players recreate Syphax’s victory over a Carthaginian punitive expedition at Tispara in 213 BC, Hasdrubal Barca and Masinissa’s defeat of Syphax at Siga in 212 BC, and Masinissa’s pursuit and defeat of Syphax at Tingis later that year. The module includes a setup card and 23 new counters for these small, quick-playing battles.
