Players develop a Renaissance palazzo by acquiring buildings, landscape features and social freedoms to attract artisans and scholars. Over seven rounds, players play profession cards to generate work points, then meet a rising work-point threshold to convert those points into money or victory points. Professions have specific preferences for combinations of building, landscape and social elements, so players bid in auctions and arrange their estate to maximize matches. Strategy centers on timing bids, balancing income vs. points, and adapting to the escalating conversion requirement each round.
