A streamlined set of fast-play wargame rules covering the Great Northern War and the War of the Spanish Succession, from 1680 to 1721. The system emphasizes unit morale and cohesion rather than casualty generation, combining missile and close combat into a single morale phase. Limited movement reflects the tactical systems of large-scale European land warfare and keeps play moving quickly. Designed for figures at the smaller end of the scale range, the rules organize units as brigades of two elements. Figures based for DBx rules do not require rebasing.
