Vaesen Starter Set

Players take on investigators in a nineteenth-century northern Europe where myths and folkloric creatures are real. The game focuses on investigating strange occurrences, confronting vaesen, and managing fear and harm through a condensed ruleset for skill tests, combat, damage, and terror. The boxed set provides a complete introductory mystery that sends the group into the Society’s headquarters, five pre-generated illustrated characters, maps of the region and a key town, a castle map, handouts, reference cards, initiative cards, and engraved dice to support play. Content addresses dark, mature themes and is presented as a horror experience not intended for young children.
