Conflict is resolved through cannon attacks and boarding actions, with victory generally going to the last captain standing.

Good theme, fun boarding duel mechanics. It needed a second edition to clean up some of the mechanics that got bloated across the many sets. In addition, the last 2 sets had a really ugly redesign that removed a lot of the cool theme in favor of uno-like designs.
