A brigade-level simulation of the pivotal 1862 battle in Maryland, where Union and Confederate forces struggle for control of the battlefield. Players alternate turns to maneuver units, conduct ranged artillery fire, resolve morale and melee, and launch cavalry charges. Each strength point represents 100 men, with a map scale of 250 yards per hex. Step losses are tracked in single-point increments, and the streamlined rules support a complete battle in an evening.
