Balut

A social dice game in which players roll five dice up to three times, selecting combinations to record on a scorecard. A five-of-a-kind is a special combination announced aloud as “Balut!” and recorded separately. Before play, participants predict how many such results will occur during the game; a correct prediction may earn a prize. The game originated in the Philippines and is also popular in the Netherlands, where organized play and competitions are held.
