Black Sword Hack

A dark fantasy roleplaying game inspired by the works of Michael Moorcock and Karl Edward Wagner. Characters are defined by their origins—Barbarian, Civilized, or Decadent—rather than traditional classes. Rules cover dangerous spells, demon pacts, spirit alliances, twisted science, rune weapons, and ship navigation and combat. World-building tools and the introductory adventure Scalpel Surprise are included.
