Marshal Massena pursues Wellington’s British army toward Portugal, leading to the Battle of Bussaco in a struggle for Lisbon. This low-complexity Napoleonic wargame uses a focused map with fewer than 20 units, each representing a division. Players maneuver across an uphill battlefield, manage combat and personalities, and contend with story-driven random events and night turns that introduce pauses and uncertainty. Fast-playing turns recreate the shifting attacks and counterattacks of a grand battle as the French and British armies fight to break one another.
