D-Day Gold and Juno Beaches: Across the Orne

A two-player wargame depicting the British landings at Gold Beach and the Canadian landings at Juno Beach during the Normandy campaign. Turns cover two to three days, with regiments, special battalions, and supporting fire represented on a 2.5-mile-per-hex map. Allied forces advance to secure Bayeux and the road to Caen while German units defend with limited initial strength and later receive reinforcements, including the nearby Panzer division. The area also becomes a point of pressure on the flanks of adjacent battles. The game uses the Fire & Movement system with scenario-specific rules and can be combined with other folios to portray larger sections of the campaign.
