Deadfall

A gambling and bluffing game in which players ante a coin and receive six cards. Each round begins with everyone playing a card, with the lowest card determining the turn order. On a turn, a player either plays another card face up, claiming that at least one card of that rank remains, or calls an opponent’s previous play. A correct call wins the pot and a penalty based on the card’s rank; an incorrect call gives both to the challenged player. Players gain ground by identifying exhausted ranks and by provoking others into making costly calls.
