A walled hill town lies in ruin, its raised approaches fallen away and its silent belltower overlooking streets reclaimed by new growth. The banished shelter among the remains while legatees press their claims. This sandbox-oriented setting framework supports improvisation in a wider campaign and can be adapted to different systems. It provides core ideas, key numbers, and general procedures for generating an abstract town map during play, with prompts for its inhabitants, overgrown buildings, underground caverns, and a toll that is both taken and heard.
