Hachi Train

Tricks and trains. Players manage a fixed hand of cards representing railroad vehicles during a mid-20th-century coal crisis. Cards cannot be rearranged, and sets may be played only when matching cards are adjacent. Players must beat the current play with the same number of higher-value cards or a larger set, or pass and draw a card with two possible values. Beaten cards are added to the winner’s hand. The last player with cards loses a life, and after four rounds or when a player loses all lives, the players with the most lives share victory.
