Players lead climbers up a mountain, advancing them step by step while managing increasing danger. Each turn offers a choice to push for more progress or stop and secure gains; pushing risks slips that remove progress or eliminate climbers. Dice and cards resolve moves and hazards, and players track multiple climbers across different routes. The game centers on timing, risk assessment, and probability as players balance reward against the chance of catastrophic loss.
