Hool!

Players use a looping playing-card order (A–2–3…J–Q–K–A…) and start each round with seven cards plus one face-up discard to begin the pile. On a turn, a player draws either the deck or the top discard (the discard may be taken only if it will form a new meld), then may lay down a set or sequence of three and may add cards to any melds already on the table. A single 7 may also be melded alone. Play ends for a player when they have no cards left; remaining hand cards are scored (an unplayed 7 counts 14) and players pay the winner based on ranking. Variants allow ending the round early by calling under a points threshold or by declaring a “blast” with an acceptable seven-card hand, with additional penalties applied in some cases.
