MERCS: Recon – Blood Contagion
This mission pack adds Infected experiments to the game. Treated as Employees, they incur civilian penalties when killed but do not attempt to leave the structure. Instead, they attack MERCS and other OpFor, with a chance to convert OpFor into special Infected versions with different priorities. The included mini-campaign sends the MERCS into a laboratory to find a cure, contain the outbreak, and rescue as many Infected as possible. Reaching 15 Infected in the structure causes defeat. The Infected can also be used as Minions in Myth, where they can infect Heroes and prevent them from generating treasure.
