Moods of the Mad King
In the court of a volatile king, playwrights gather material for a play while trying to avoid his displeasure. Each player collects Act I, Act II, and Act III cards in matching genres: Drama, Comedy, Tragedy, or Romance. The king’s current mood favors one genre and can change during the game. Players draw and play cards to build matching sets, steal information, and disrupt opponents. Completed sets score points based on their consistency, with additional points for matching the king’s final mood. The game ends when the last play card is drawn.
