Richard Tucholka's Hardwired Hinterland: A Science Fantasy of Flight

An endless grid of isolated island Environs forms a science-fantasy setting, with each 200-square-mile region containing its own cultures, dangers, and deposits of technological materials. Vintage aircraft recovered as salvage provide the main means of travel across the impassable seas. Players take the roles of adventurers who fly between Environs to trade, deliver mail, seek lost treasures, and explore the unknown. Encounters range from cannibals and hostile societies to kaiju and other hazards.
