Rookie Heroes

In 1981, rising violence in Broke Hill overwhelms the city’s established superhero group, leaving them searching for new recruits. Players take the roles of rookie heroes, each specializing in Strength, Speed, Elements, or Psychic abilities, and compete to prove their worth. Each turn, several missions are revealed and players bid for the ones they want to attempt. Every hero undertakes one mission, using dice based on their main ability while negotiating and playing resource cards to improve their chances. The hero who completes the most valuable missions earns the most Mission Points and joins the Guardians.
