This game is built on the roll the dice then reroll twice idea. Similar to King of Tokyo, but since dice can lock on you, it'd even more similar to CV. Based on your rolls, you can get followers that are worth points, and or protect yourself from the cool zombie minis that walk towards your board. The game is fun and has a good sense of humor. I love seeing all the little zombie minis on your player board walking slowly (or sometimes quickly) at your face. It's perhaps a little random, as what we've seen so far is one player rolls more followers than the others and ends up winning, while one player rolls fewer attack dice and winds up dying. Each character also has a super special ability that you need a perfect roll to achieve. Those miracle rolls are rare at best. There are also a few cards here and there that let you send or pull zombies to and from each other player's boards. I like this, and would like to see more of it in the game. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ☆ Clever or interesting mechanisms ☆ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ☆ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment
