Stalin's War

A card-driven, hex-and-counter operational game of the Eastern Front in World War II. Players command Axis Panzer corps or Soviet Fronts and Armies across a large hex map that spans from Berlin to the Urals, maneuvering mechanized forces to create encirclements, exploit breakthroughs, and hold defensive lines. Each side uses a 55-card deck to launch offensives, mobilize and replace units, introduce weapons and leaders, and resolve strategic events that affect the campaign. Simple rules focus on operational movement, mechanized exploitation, and combined-arms combat; multiple scenarios include a full campaign and a shorter tournament scenario covering June 1941–Winter 1943.
